An Artists Heart
Hey guys! It’s been awhile since you’ve heard from this side of CDP. Things are all good! Just a little note to let you know where I’ve been and where I’m going. Basically it boils down to three things.
1.For those of you who do not know me well, I am and always will be a singer and performer. Since September I’ve been in five productions, so great apologies for being behind on blogging. It took all I had to keep up with family, rehearsals and returning things to clients promptly. Photography, however is still a great love of my life so no worries, I’ve not (nor do I plan to) left the camera, just been pursuing multiple activities. I will be attending a few conference auditions this winter and spring which will lead to the possibility of a longer term theatre job, possibly taking me away from photo for an extend time this summer. Everything is in the air; honestly I’m a little nervous and excited. If i’m rejected, now the whole world knows haha. For the CDP:wedding fans out there, Barrett has been a great partner and is continuing to take over the wedding side of things for me for the months of June, July and the very beginning of August.
2. MY MAIN GOAL this year is to create something really special in every circumstance. Original, inspiring, beautiful and bubbling over with humanity and love. Last year CDP grew by leaps and bounds! Great thanks to everyone!! Your love and support carry me. I learned SO much about…well everything. I had such special opportunities to explore and be noticed in so many types of photography. I’m rejuvenated and ready to create.
3. After a lot of contemplation, CDP has begun to split into two: CDP:artists and CDP:weddings. I’ve spent a long time developing what I hope will be lasting ideas and identities for both. All will be revealed in due time. Thanks for being patient with my website. As always my blog stays active and I can be emailed any time at caitlin@caitlindenman.com
With all that said, my heart feels so full. I’m thankful to be doing everything that has come my way. Thank you all for being a part of my life and supporting my journey as a photographer, performer and whatever other hats I decide to put on. (on which i decide to put? )
